GlenDronach Port Wood is a rich, fruity Highland single malt Scotch whisky finished in Portuguese port pipes from the Douro Valley. Bottled at 46% ABV (non-chill filtered, natural color), it delivers vibrant notes of summer berries, baked orange, and gingerbread.
Nose
Fruits galore! Boozy dried raisins and dates, fresh juicy tropical notes, berry jam on flaky buttered croissants.
Palate
Chocolate fudge and flamed brown sugar, dark fruits – blackberry crumble with gently bitter, rich oak.
Finish
Mixed grapes and tannic oak, lingering fruity sweetness, and charred wood.
