Origin: Kagoshima Spec: Potato Shochu Volume: 720ml Alcohol: 25% "Nakamura" Distillery aims for clarity in the midst of density. High-quality materials like rice oil, rice, and potato are used in the production of their "Shochu". Rice that is treated in temperature-controlled conditions is coated with alcohol molecules to produce a more luxurious taste. The alcohol develops in both richness and clarity through this process. "Nakamura" Distilleryʼs regular products are blended with raw, aged "Shochu" and freshly distilled shochu. The “Gyokuro Asia” brand of "Shochu", is a single- preparation "Shochu" that is not a blend and is a “complete vintage”. Its taste brings together history, climate, spring water, and artisanship to produce an experience that is sublime.  

NEFT Vodka was founded on the belief that vodka should stand on its own, enjoyed neat, solely for its taste. Using just two pure ingredients - ancient non-GMO rye grains and artesian mountain water sourced from the Austrian Alps - NEFT has accomplished just that. A white wine based vermouth, made with two wines which are matured separately for a year before a secret selection of herbs and spices are macerated for three weeks, then carefully extracted. Afterwards, the wine is allowed to rest for six more weeks. Also, if you say the name phonetically it makes for a good insult.

AVB 43% A bustling seaside resort has grown up around the distillery in the two centuries since it was first built in the fishing town of Oban. The West Highland malt is still produced in the same unhurried, traditional fashion and this 14 year old is a classic whisky from the distillery. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: Smoky, maritime nose with hints of sticking plasters and toffee brittle. Palate: Smoky, creamy palate with notes of marmalade, toffee apples and pear cider. A development of cloves comes late palate. Finish: A long, malty finish with toasty oak and spice. Overall: A true classic, Oban's 14 year old is a great coastal dram for lovers of lightly smoked, fresh malts.

ABV 43%  Oban's Little Bay has graduated to the core range as a 70cl bottling. Master Blenders Dr. Matthew Crow and Dr. Craig Wilson use whisky matured in refill American oak hogsheads, European oak Sherry casks and refill casks with new ends for this expression before allowing the resultant single malt whisky to marry in small oak casks.

Pimm's No. 1 is a gin-based liquor made in England from dry gin, liqueur, fruit juices and spices. It was created in 1859 by the English oyster bar owner James Pimm. The recipe is still a secret, and only six persons know exactly how it is made. Pimm's No. 1 have a dark, golden-brown color, a medium body and a taste of citrus fruits and spice. It is either served on the rocks or used in cocktails.

700ml 46% ABV  A simply fantastic single pot still Irish whiskey that has been incredibly well-received since its release. This is drawn from similar casks types to the 12 and 15 year old bottlings but also from some refill casks. This 21 year old is one of our favourite Irish whiskeys of all time. It is packed with rich, spiced fruit flavours along with some surprisingly fresh barley and tropical fruit flavours. Remarkable aroma spanning fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit. Soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness with a dusting of Pot Still spices. Luscious fleshy fruit notes complete the creamy mouth feel. Lingers, seemingly forever, to oak and pot still spices and then, the final bow from the Barley – where it all began.    

40% ABV  A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. Nose: Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon. Palate: Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever. Finish: Long and creamy with custard and spice
