ABV 43%  The flagship expression from the Benriach distillery. This 10 year old Speyside single malt is drawn from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks after at least a decade of slumber, resulting in a malt that shows off the distillery's style wonderfully. Expect hearty barley backed up by orchard fruit and toasted almond, alongside just a hint of herbaceous oak.

ABV 46% Benriach's 12 Year Old Sherry Wood expression, which is matured in sherry casks, and then finished in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. More sherried deliciousness than you can shake a stick at. Nose: Cooked apple drizzled in crème de cassis, brown sugar and zesty orange. Palate: Fig, blackcurrant jam, apricot, slowly building Christmas spice and continued vanilla.

ABV 48%   A heavily peated whisky from the Benriach distillery. This is at higher than average strength and was distilled from peated malt at 35ppm. The result is at once smoky and very fruity.

ABV 40%  The entry level Benriach bottling with no age statement, named for the distillery's location in Elgin in Moray at the heart of Speyside. A fresh, youthful whisky with a distinct countryside note. Nose: Fresh. Cut hay, acacia honey. Damp earth, spicy. Palate: Rounded smoothness. Marmalade. Gentle smoke, earthy peat somewhere in the substrata. Finish: Peppery oak develops.

It's the sequel to their popular peaty treat Bunnahabhain Toiteach, featuring a much more up-front core of sherried spice shining out between the smoky plumes.

AVB 43% This 12 year old is the entry level bottling from the Caol Ila distillery, launched in June of 2002 this expression is light and fresh with that distinctive Caol Ila smoke.
